Close to the International Trade City, Yiwu port is an inland waterless port with the functions of customs and commodity inspection, which can realize“One customs declaration, one inspection and one release”, it is an important infrastructure for the “Grand Customs clearance” of Yiwu Province and was invested and built by China International Dry Port Group.
The project is planned to cover 1,050 mu of land and design an annual freight capacity of 1.1 million standard containers. It will be built in two phases. The first phase covers an area of 394 mu and Gross leasable area 430,000 square meters, with an investment of 1.45 billion yuan. It was completed and put into operation in October 2011, the main customs and Commodity Inspection Office Hall, a comprehensive office building and foreign trade warehouse. Among them, the Customs Office Hall has set up a single administrative examination and approval acceptance window, which can accept all administrative examination and approval matters of Yiwu customs in one stop; and a three-storey three-dimensional foreign trade warehouse of 349,000 square meters, it can hold 494 containers and hold containers at the same time.
The second phase of the project covers an area of 656 mu, estimated investment of 1.6 billion yuan, mainly including customs, commodity inspection supervision field and container yard, car park and other facilities. Among them, the customs control yard and the sealed waiting area with 416 parking spaces on two floors were completed and put into operation in November 2013, covering an area of 255 mu and a construction area of 76,000 square meters, with H986 inspection platform and 56 manual inspection platform, container yard covers an area of 185 acres, has been completed on December 28,2014, with more than 300 flat container stack.
Yiwu port is equipped with advanced high-tech management facilities, installed H986 large container inspection system, smart card system, monitoring system, interconnected logistics information system and other facilities, it effectively reduces the inspection time of supervised goods, and the efficiency of customs supervision reaches the national advanced level. At present, a large number of well-known enterprises in Yiwu Port, a foreign trade warehouse has 151 freight forwarding companies, foreign trade enterprises in, engaged in export goods storage business;
The business office area has 159 enterprises engaged in international logistics business, such as import and export, freight forwarding, shipping companies, supply chain, customs declaration, etc. , including well-known international shipping companies: China Shipping, the President of the United States, France Fly, Japan Mail, Hong Kong Oriental overseas, and so on, can provide customers with agent procurement, finance, insurance, booking space, customs declaration, inspection, warehousing, suitcases, LCL, sea and land transport and other through-train services.
In 2014,261,000 teus of containers were loaded at Yiwu port, up 38.7 percent year-on-year, and 598,000 teus were sealed at Yiwu customs, up 17.5 percent year-on-year. In 2015, affected by the international trade situation, the Yiwu port finished loading 265,000 teus of containers, up 1.5 percent year on year. In the first nine months of 2016, Yiwu finished loading 207,800 teus of containers, up 4.2 percent year on year.
